Observers have noted Lehtimäki's history of bold assertions about his ventures. On May 15, 2025, he unveiled an AI startup, ASILAB, and in a similarly polished launch video, claimed his team had engineered a "synthetic equivalent" to the human brain. Its debut product, ASINOID, was described as a "dynamic, self-evolving entity designed to enhance its abilities and awareness."
