I don't despise this film. I detest what it blatantly represents. With the growth of the internet and streaming, cinemas struggle to maintain audience engagement. Despite encouraging financial triumphs for innovative films like Sinners, Weapons, and KPop Demon Hunters, we are also subjected to appallingly derivative, unattractive, and uninspired rubbish such as this. It isn't designed to provoke or excite. Movies of this sort aim to briefly divert us from a turbulent world and then coax us into purchases. It represents the most detrimental aspects of TikTok and Saturday morning cartoons infiltrating theaters under the guise of cinema. Like its forerunner, it may reap enormous revenues, but that won't confer quality.
